HUSKY SAFARIS AND HUSKY FARM VISITS

The visits to a Husky Farm enable you to get to know the huskies and try a short ride in a big sleigh.
During the 10 km Husky Safari you can drive your own sleigh, 2 persons on a sleigh and possibility to change driver in the middle of the safari.

HUSKY FARM VISIT AND 2 KM HUSKYRIDE
During the guided visit you will get to know everyday life of a Huskypark and animals as well as sled dog traditions. 2km huskyride through the snow-filled forest and across the frozen lake. The large sled can fit a bigger group, and the guide will take care of the driving. On the guided park tour in Huskypark you will meet the animals from reindeers and arctic foxes to movie wolves and red foxes. Snacks and hot drinks are served in a warm Laplander’s hut by the fire.

10KM HUSKY SAFARI AND VISIT TO A HUSKY FARM
**FULLY BOOKED**
We like to offer you a 10km husky safari with a professional guide and experienced sled dogs. Safari trails go close to the Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park and you can enjoy scenery of Aakenustunturi fell. You have an opportunity to drive two persons on the sleigh by yourself, another driving and another sitting. The driver can switch in mid-safari. You can also book your own single sled to drive (Note that driving alone is physically demanding) .
After the safari you can spend time with the dogs and you will also meet our other dogs in the kennel. We will tell you more about huskies, our lifestyle and sled dog racing. Warm drinks will be served by an open fire in our cozy cottage, Kota.
